JET AIRWAYS

SFPR is proud to have been selected to be the local PR company for Jet Airways' launch of direct daily service between San Francisco and Mumbai, India via Shanghai China. Jet Airways is India's premiere airline offering unprecedented levels of luxury, privacy and comfort in the air.

The Jet Airways' inaugural flight from San Francisco International Airport was preceded by a special event that featured priests representing Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christian faiths- four of India's leading religions, that blessed the plane and the new business venture.

SHIRLEY FONG-TORRES

Author and culinary humorist, Shirley Fong-Torres has released her fourth book, "The Woman Who Ate Chinatown- A San Francisco Odyssey" and SFPR arranged media interviews for Shirley with CBS 5, KTVU 2, ABC 7, KRON 4, KCBS 740, KGO 810, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Marin Independent Journal and the Pacifica Tribune.

THE BROADWAY GRILL IN BURLINGAME

Over the past year, SFPR has arranged for five live radio remote broadcasts at The Broadway Grill including Star 101.3, KFRC 106.9, and most recently with KFOG 104.5. For the KFOG broadcast, that was part of the station’s "Local Music Month," Pure Ecstasy, who are stars of The Broadway Grill’s Motown Monday were joined by Santana’s lead singer Tony Lindsay to sing a medley of Motown classics. The restaurant was packed at 6:00 a.m with area "Fogheads" who came to see all the action during the four-hour morning show broadcast.

SFPR PHOTOGRAPHY

SFPR has been busy with photography assignments for KGO 810, Genentech, University of San Francisco, Clear Channel Radio, Gumas Advertising, and many more. SFPR's Kenny Wardell even had the tough duty of taking his cameras to France, Spain, and Italy for a client.

WORLD FORUM 2007

An impressive list of world leaders and thinkers gathered in San Francisco for the World Forum 2007, a sold-out three day program that offered a dynamic, interactive experience for all participants.  Speakers included former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Elie Wiesel and many others.  SFPR arranged for CBS 5 (KPIX-TV) and KCBS 740 to be media sponsors and there also was news coverage on ABC 7, (KGO-TV), NBC 11, (KNTV-TV) as well as in the San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner, the Oakland Tribune, and many other newspapers.

THE CALIFORNIA HOME, GARDEN, AND DESIGN SHOW

People looking for home improvement and design ideas have found that the California Home, Garden, and Design Show at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds is an excellent place to get inspiration, insights, and information.  An extensive PR campaign received major attention in local Bay Area press including the San Jose Mercury News and KRON-TV. PLAYBOY TV

SFPR was hired to be the Coordinating Producer for a Playboy TV reality docu-soap that will begin airing in January 2008 over their cable network that has over 20 million subscribers.  SFPR was responsible for securing and managing locations as well as securing San Francisco celebrity guests that included former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown Jr., Rock’n’Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar, KMEL DJ Chuy Gomez, and city leaders in sex education, art and culture, social and environmental activism, and freedom of expression.
